How to approve a DebiCheck on TymeBank (GoTyme Bank)
TymeBank is now called GoTyme Bank, and the old TymeBank app has been discontinued. GoTyme sends a notification or SMS when a DebiCheck needs your answer. Follow the instructions in that message before the time it shows.
In the GoTyme Bank app
- Use the GoTyme Bank app. GoTyme says the old TymeBank app has been discontinued.
- Look for the DebiCheck notification on your phone, or an SMS from GoTyme.
- Follow the instructions in that message.
- Check the business name, the amount and the date.
- Approve it only if you recognise it and the details are correct. If not, reject it and contact GoTyme.
GoTyme Bank does not publish step-by-step DebiCheck screens. Its terms say to follow the instructions in the notification or SMS.
How long you have
GoTyme says you must approve or reject within the time shown in its notification or SMS.
If you missed it
GoTyme says that if you do not answer in time, the debit order may still go off your account as a normal debit order. Contact the business and ask it to send a new DebiCheck request.
If you pressed decline by mistake
GoTyme does not publish how to undo a rejection. It says that if you reject a valid DebiCheck, it will not pay the business, and you will still owe the business. Contact the business and ask it to send a new request.

Did it work?
Done. Your debit order is set up.
You do not need to approve it again every month. You will only be asked again if the business changes the amount or the date.
What happened?
- Make sure you use the GoTyme Bank app, not the old TymeBank app.
- GoTyme says the cellphone number and phone model on your GoTyme profile must be correct and up to date.
- Ask the business if it has sent the request yet.
- Call GoTyme on 0860 999 119, or use the chat in the app.

A real DebiCheck request comes from your own bank, inside its app, SMS, phone menu or ATM. It shows the business name, the amount and the collection day. Your bank will never send you a link to approve it or ask for your PIN, password or OTP.

Who asked you to approve?
Type the name of the shop, lender or insurer. We will write a message asking them to send the request again.
Send it the way you usually talk to them: SMS, email, or the number on your agreement.
Questions people ask
Is there a TymeBank USSD code for DebiCheck?
GoTyme Bank does not publish a USSD code for approving a DebiCheck. Use the GoTyme Bank app and the notification or SMS that GoTyme sends you.
Do I have to approve a GoTyme DebiCheck every month?
No. GoTyme says you approve once, unless the details change. Then you approve the changed request.
Can I cancel a DebiCheck at GoTyme?
GoTyme says that to cancel a debit order, you still need to contact the company directly. Stopping the debit order does not cancel what you owe under your agreement.
Is this page from GoTyme Bank?
No. Planar is not a bank and did not send your DebiCheck request. This page explains what GoTyme Bank publishes about DebiCheck. Planar never asks for your PIN, password, OTP or card number.
